It is our great honor and pleasure to organize the “PPIS Winter Meeting 2017 in TOYAMA-Pan Pacific Implant Society” to be held in conjunction with 21st Annual Meeting of the Japanese Academy of Maxillofacial Implants. The Pan Pacific Implant Society (PPIS) was established to promote reliable oral implant therapy that is affirmed by academics in the Pan Pacific area, centered in East Asia. It is a platform where the experts in this region exchange ideas for advancing our field. For this year’s meeting we have organized a symposium tentatively entitled “Global standardization for secure and successful oral implant therapy”. We expect very exciting discussions about this field.
Toyama city, our venue, is full of natural wonders, from the Toyama bay to the Tateyama mountain range, which towers up to 3000 meters in height. The mountain range capped with snow is a magnificent and divine spectacle, while the Toyama bay combines beauty and delicacy. Not only has it been registered as one of the world’s most beautiful bay clubs, but it is also called a “high-class restaurant’s fish tank” for the plentiful bounty and variety of fresh fish in its waters.
We sincerely hope our participants will enjoy not only the academic program, but also the nature and taste of winter in Toyama. We encourage you to join us at the meeting and look forward to seeing you at the PPIS Winter Meeting 2017 in TOYAMA.
