On behalf of the Japanese Society of Pharmacognosy, we are pleased to invite you to the 11th JSP-CSP-KSP Joint Symposium on Pharmacognosy (11th JCK). It will be held online, hosted at Hoshi University, Tokyo, Japan on September 18-19, 2021 and will be in conjunction with the 67th Annual Meeting of JSP scheduled for September 19-20.

We have planned the industries organized symposium, entitled “Quality Assurance & Therapeutic Evidence of Traditional East Asian Medicinal (TEAM) Products”. The symposium will focus on caring for our aging societies. Our hope is to share key information through discussions on common topics and future tasks related to TEAM products from three countries. We believe the symposium will lead to enhancing partnerships among academia, administration and manufacturers.

Following the last 10 successful symposia, 11th JCK also features plenary/invited lectures and poster sessions from each represented country. We warmly welcome the three societies’ members, students, and industry delegates to this forum for an opportunity to share your information and viewpoints on the extensive areas of pharmacognosy. We anticipate topic coverage on medicinal natural products as well as resources associated with their discovery, quality evaluation, sustainable use, and biosynthetic application to synthetic biology.
